TiECON Kolkata 2018 had organized a mega summit on "#Mistakes are Good - Let's Talk Real Entrepreneurship" on 2nd and 3rd November, 2018 at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.
It was one of the biggest Entrepreneurship Summits of Kolkata, led by Mr. Sagar Jagdish Daryani, Founder Wow! Momo & Chairman, TiE Kolkata.
The summit saw more than 1000 entrepreneurs from Kolkata and Eastern India and helped them share valuable tips with each other. There were 40 eminent global and national entrepreneurs, speakers and experts who had narrated their success stories covering the following tracks Information Technology & Consumer Internet, Retail & FMCG, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare & Medicine, Business of Branding, Angel & Private Equity Funding Food & Beverage plus Hospitality.
Some of the notable speakers were Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, Founder & MD, Bandhan Bank, Harsvardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia Group, Amit Chaudhury, Co-founder, Lenskart, Anurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld & Founder Exchange4Media, Mayank Jalan, Chairman & MD, Keventer Agro Limited, Sushil Mohta, Chairman & MD, Merlin Group, Anjan Chatterjee, Chairman & MD, Specialty Restaurants Ltd, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Fashion Designer, Shaankar Sen, Chairman & MD, Senco Gold, PadmajaRuparel, Co-founder & President, Indian Angel Network, Sagar Daryani, Co-founder & CEO, Wow! In addition to the general sessions, "The Hot Pitch" were organized and supported by The Indian Angel Network [IAN] where 50 shortlisted start-ups had pitched their business plans and ideas and the Final 10 narrated their business plan before 15 IAN members who are the top angel investors in the country.
