Mallabhum Sahitya Sandhya

'Mallabhum Sahitya Academy' had organized a wonderful cultural eve at CK-43, Salt Lake 'ANYA THEATRE' on 18 Nov., Sunday.

  The Chief Guest was Bidhannagar Municiapal Corporation Councilor Anindo Chattopadhyay. The Guests of Honour included journalists Ujjwal Dutta and Debopam Sarkar.

 The principal focus of the program was launch of a book of poems "Moner Manush Koi?" by eminent poet Smt. Sreelekha Chatterjee. This is Sreelekha Chatterjee's 8th book of poems and is expected to be a hit like the previous ones.

  'Mallabhum Sahitya Academy' presented the prestigious 'Mother Teressa Award' for socio-cultural brilliance to renowned social activist Gouranga Mondal journalist Sanjib Chakraborty and poet Sreelekha Chatterjee.

   Hon. Convenor Sri Aloke Datta and Secretary of MSA, Sri Samir Banerjee chaired the proceedings. 

     Eminent Tabla player Dibyendu Pal, vocal artists Papri Das, writer Asish Basak, Gour Sen and Saheli Manna (a Privileged Member of 'Hello Kolkata Ladies CLUB') were a few of the special guests of 'Mallabhum Sahitya Sandhya'.
