'Indo-Bangladesh Harmonica' at Press Club

'Epar Bangla Opar Bangla Maitri Utsav' ('Indo-Bangladesh Harmonica'), organized by 'Apu Siksha Paribesh o Unnayan Foundation' (a Bangladeshi NGO) and 'Hello Kolkata' (3D News-Media, Films & Events), witnessed clothes distribution to handicapped children.
Janab Shadi-Ud-Zaman, an eminent entrepreneur and devoted social worker of Bangladesh, was also felicitated for his wonderful support for humanitarian work.
A brief discussion took place on the rich heritage of 'Epar & Opar Bangla' by dignitaries like Sandhi Mukherjee (IPS), social activist Probir Sarkar, Jharna Sarkar (Secretary, Bangladeshi NGO) & others.
Shadi-ud-Zaman's wife Merryna Sadi also spoke well on the harmonising aspects of two Bengals.
Asish Basak, Editor-Director, 'Hello Kolkata' remarked that such cultural exchange program strengthens our bonding of Indo-Bangladesh heritage and also motivate others to perform better for the holistic development of society.
